Be Brave

I recently was offered an internship in D.C. and I'm kinda freaking out about it. I've never lived so far away from home without one of my parents with me. I've got a room in Friendship Heights and my commute to the DNC will be short. I am so lucky I will be close to my boyfriend, this 500 miles apart thing really sucks. How have you coped with a major change?

I LOVE my Longchamp bag, I have four of them! It's safe to say it's an addiction! When we were in New York for Model UN a couple weeks ago my friend Cara and I played a game to see who could spot the most Longchamps. It was actually pretty crazy how many bags I saw on the shoulders of young twenty something students and professionals. One of the girls from a school in Germany got in a conversation with me over our similar Longchamps. She said the German government sent out a publication to all the people selected to come to the conference with guidelines on how to dress and the Longchamp was the bag of choice!

NMUN New York outfits of the day

I just got back from New York City for the National Model UN conference, it was amazing. 

This was my second year going to the NMUN conference and I was still super excited to be in the United Nations!

Sunday evening opening ceremony:

 Monday meeting with the staff of the Montenegrin delegation to the UN:

 Tuesday in committee ALL day!

 Friday voting in the UN General Assembly Hall and closing ceremony:

Friday night, the delegate dance was held is this beautiful old theater!
