I recently was offered an internship in D.C. and I'm kinda freaking out about it. I've never lived so far away from home without one of my parents with me. I've got a room in Friendship Heights and my commute to the DNC will be short. I am so lucky I will be close to my boyfriend, this 500 miles apart thing really sucks. How have you coped with a major change?
